BFAA Lifetime Legacy Membership

A Legacy Worth Building.
A Legacy Worth Protecting.

The Black Farmers & Agriculturalists Association honors the work, determination, ownership and opportunities that Black farmers, landowners, business owners and families have created across generations. Lifetime Legacy builds upon that foundation by creating greater opportunities to learn, protect, grow and pursue what is still possible.

Legacy is the land we protect. The businesses we build. The opportunities we create. The knowledge we share. The families we strengthen. And the doors we open for those who come after us.

Lifetime Legacy brings those things together.

The BFAA Lifetime Legacy Story

What We Build Becomes Part of Our Legacy

An older Black couple standing proudly at the edge of the farmland their family has worked for generations

For generations, Black farmers, landowners, entrepreneurs and families have built through determination, resourcefulness and a belief that ownership matters.

Land has been protected. Farms have been worked. Businesses have been built. Families have created opportunities where opportunities did not always exist.

That work matters. And the work continues.

For some families, that work remains visible in land, businesses and assets still held today. For others, the connection continues through heirs and descendants whose families owned, farmed and built before them — even when some of that land or property is no longer in the family’s possession.

This membership provides the information, education, resources and opportunities that help members understand what their families built, protect what they hold today and continue creating what comes next.

Because legacy is not simply something we leave behind. It is something we live, build and strengthen every day.

The Next Chapter

Building on What BFAA Has Started

The Black Farmers & Agriculturalists Association has created a powerful foundation through advocacy, education and its continued commitment to Black farmers, landowners, heirs, business owners and families. Lifetime Legacy is an opportunity to build on that foundation and take the work further.

This is where greater focus is placed on the opportunities that can strengthen what members and their families have today and expand what may be possible tomorrow — from land and agriculture to business, ownership, wealth-building, heirs’ property, estate and succession planning, grants, funding and access to valuable resources.

Through dedicated communications, focused Zoom experiences, education and ongoing access to relevant information and opportunities, members can dig deeper, stay informed and participate in an expanding part of BFAA’s work.

BFAA has already built the foundation. Lifetime Legacy is about how far we can take it.

What Continues

Protect What Matters. Recognize What’s Possible.

For generations, Black farmers, landowners, business owners and families have created opportunities, built businesses, worked the land and established something of value for those who came after them. In some families, that land and ownership remain. In others, the connection continues through heirs and descendants whose families built and owned before them.

Lifetime Legacy recognizes both.

Through dedicated information, educational conversations, resources and access to relevant opportunities, members can stay informed about the issues that may affect their land, businesses, families and future. From heirs’ property and estate planning to agriculture, business development, funding opportunities and programs through agencies such as USDA and SBA, the focus is on helping members better understand what is available, what may need to be protected and what opportunities may still be ahead.

What was built before matters. So does what you choose to do next.

What Came Before

A foundation was created.

What We Build Today

Build, grow and maximize.
